Suggestions Which Help Me Stay On Plan In My Eating

I’ve learned to practice these “P’s” in my weight loss and my maintenance journey.
First is Persistence. I have to be persistent in sticking to my eating plan. If I slip up or make a bad choice, I get right back in there and make good choices again.
The second is Patience. There have been weeks where my weight stayed the same and where I didn’t see the progress I was working for. I’ve had to learn to be patient with my system as well as with my thoughts in adjusting to this new way of life. I can accomplish it, and it also improves when I’m not so tough on myself.
The third is Prayer. For me personally, I need the power I obtain through praying each day. I ask The Lord to give me the ability in making sensible choices and also conquer temptations which may face me. Then I put the work in to avoid cravings and also to be well prepared in my food options.
Anytime I find myself battling when making sensible options for my health and wellness, I realize that I often times have slipped short in one or even more of the above 3 P’s. ~Margene Watch Health Coach.
